Since early childhood, I have had a strong curiosity and fascination with the natural world. For the past fifteen years I have been traveling the world, from Australia to Zambia, exploring many of the world’s most spectacular wild places. My passion for photography has evolved amidst my ramblings. Photography provides a medium with which I can capture the dramatic complexity and beauty of nature. Although birds are my main focus (pardon the pun), I find inspiration in all aspects of nature. It is the spectacular diversity of life that continually amazes me.
When not traveling, I work as a consulting forester in western New York and northwestern Pennsylvania. I have given numerous presentations for local nature clubs and organizations and enjoy sharing my vision of nature with others.
