Growing up in rural Western NYstate, Jennifer has long been fascinated with the natural world. She shares her enthusiasm with wildlife, especially birds, though her paintings. Dynamic lighting, mood, and capturing the spirit of the animal are often important in her work. Nature is her inspiration, and when she is not painting she is often found watching and studying the animals she loves, or being excited over a patch of moss.
Combining her love for birds and conservation, Jennifer often enters duck stamp competitions, and most recently placed with honorable mention in North Carolina’s Waterfowl Stamp Competition.
After sampling life in various parts of the country, Jennifer settled back in her childhood home of WNY, and shares her house in the woods with her husband, five parrots, two finches, and a bunch of chickens.
