I’ve been making wind chimes for over 20 yrs, selling them at art and craft fairs all over the country. Each chime is hand made by me, and has a unique look. I use fashioned hardwoods (walnut, cherry, oak and poplar) and found wood (buttonwood, cedarwood) for the tops and other parts of the chimes. I make my chimes from copper, and apply patinas and flame to create interesting patterns and colors and markings on each pipe. It takes several steps to make each chime. I attach Swavorski crystal light prisms on some chimes to catch light and throw rainbows to add color to your day. I finish and treat each and every chime to protect them from weather with lacquers and polyurethanes.
